Calumet Memorial Park District, located in the southern suburbs of Chicago, needed a superior software system to provide online registration for the 36,000 residents in their community.   Offering a wide array of activities and services, there was no opportunity for residents to register and pay online.  With Activitek, community members can conveniently register and pay online for classes and facility rentals.  Residents can also access their recreation account information, view their activity schedule and edit their contact information.   Activitek significantly benefits the 200 employees of the Calumet Memorial Park District, integrating Activitek and Municipal Software Inc. – Financial Software purchased by the park district in 2001.

Activitek Parks and Recreation Software Platform is a cloud based software system that provides administrative tools for departments and online accounts management options for residents.   Because it is a web-based system, the cost is much lower for a budget conscious department.  It is a powerful tool which allows organizations to manage their everyday business processes from a secure web-based environment. Departments can manage contacts, finances, activities, or resources from a single online location. Users are able to run analytical reports which can assist them in everyday business processes. Residents are provided with a public interface that allows them to manage their account online at any time.
